Terms of Use

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Welcome to simplematch ("the Service", "the Application"). simplematch is a product of Simple Web ("Simple Web", "we", "us"), which lets event organizers run an event and lets guests register for it, meet other participants, and communicate. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Service. By using the Service you agree to these Terms — if you do not agree, please refrain from using it. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are and what the Service is

The simplematch Service is operated by Simple Web. Address: LYFE Towers, David Ben Gurion 1, Bnei Brak, Israel. Email: info@simple-web.co.il.

simplematch is a platform for event management and in-event introductions: an organizer (a couple getting married, a bar or club owner, a venue, or another event organizer) sets up an event; guests join a specific event via a link or QR code, create a short profile (name, age, gender and photo), and can browse other participants, "like" and match, and chat (global and private).

simplematch is a technology tool only. We are not a party to any introduction, meeting, relationship, or interaction formed between users, and we are not responsible for their conduct.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" / "Application" — the simplematch web + mobile platform, with all its features.
  • "Operator" / "we" — Simple Web, which operates simplematch.
  • "Organizer" — a registered user who opened an account to create and manage an event (usually a paying customer).
  • "Guest" / "User" — a person accessing a specific event via link or QR code and registering for it.
  • "User Content" — any information, photo, message, profile or material a user uploads to the Service.

3. Eligibility and age

3.1. The Service is for users aged 18 and up. Registration for any event (wedding, bar, club or other) is open only to those aged 18 and up.

3.2. Use of the introductions feature (liking, creating matches, and showing your profile to other participants for the purpose of meeting) is subject to your separate acceptance at registration.

3.3. The user warrants that the details provided — including their age — are true and accurate. If we learn that a user does not meet the age requirement, we may remove their account.

3.4. Accounts may not be transferred to another person. The user is responsible for all actions taken on their account.

4. Paid plans and consumer rights

4.1. Some services are paid (for example, an event set up by a couple, or a business subscription). The price, scope of service and billing terms (one-time payment or a renewing subscription) are arranged and presented in advance, before payment, and include VAT as required by law.

4.2. Cancellation: under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, a transaction for a service may be cancelled within 14 days of being made (subject to the law's other conditions). A continuing subscription may be cancelled at any time — billing stops, and a pro-rata refund for the paid-but-unused period is provided as required by law.

4.3. Nothing in these Terms derogates from consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law.

5. Permitted and prohibited use

5.1. The Service may be used for personal purposes and for managing events only.

5.2. Unauthorized commercial activity, spam, or any unlawful purpose is prohibited.

5.3. Reverse engineering, hacking, circumventing protections, or harming the Service's security is prohibited.

5.4. Harming the Service's availability through attacks (DDoS, brute force, aggressive scraping) or overload is prohibited.

6. Safety and no user verification

6.1. We do not verify users' identities, do not run background or criminal checks, and do not screen, endorse or vouch for any user or for the information they provide.

6.2. Any meeting or introduction with a person you met through the Service is at your own risk. We recommend meeting for the first time in a public place, telling someone you trust, and exercising caution.

6.3. Encountered abusive behavior? You can report and block users through the tools in the Service. We may (but are not obligated to) remove content or restrict/block users.

7. User Content

7.1. The user retains the intellectual-property rights in the content they upload.

7.2. The user grants Simple Web a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the content solely for operating the Service (storage, presentation to event participants, and backup).

7.3. We may remove content, without prior notice, if it violates these Terms or the law.

  • Do not upload offensive, sexually explicit, violent, racist, inciting or unlawful content.
  • Do not upload content infringing third-party intellectual property.
  • Do not upload personal information of others without their explicit permission.
  • Do not upload viruses, malicious code, or misleading links.

8. Intellectual property

8.1. The name "simplematch", the logo, design, non-user content, and software code are owned by Simple Web.

8.2. Copying, duplicating, distributing, or displaying the application or parts of it without the Operator's prior written approval is prohibited.

9. Conduct between participants

9.1. Introductions within an event are between consenting adults only (aged 18 and up).

9.2. Harassment, threats, insults, or improper conduct toward other users is prohibited.

9.3. Impersonating another person or providing misleading information about your identity is prohibited.

9.4. As stated in section 1, simplematch is not a party to any interaction between users and is not responsible for their conduct.

10. Moderation, suspension and termination

10.1. We may, at our discretion and subject to law, remove content, restrict features, suspend or block a user, or terminate the Service for a user — primarily in cases of a breach of these Terms, harm to other users, or a legal requirement.

10.2. The Service includes reporting and blocking tools. A report about a user is forwarded to the relevant organizer (at a bar/club) and to the simplematch team, and may lead to removal of the user from the event.

10.3. The user may stop using the Service and request deletion of their account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

11. Limitation of liability

11.1. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". We do not warrant continuous availability, freedom from defects, or fitness for specific expectations.

11.2. Subject to law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages arising from use of the Service.

11.3. Subject to law, and except for the cases in section 11.4, the Operator's aggregate liability to a user, on any cause of action, shall not exceed the amount that user paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11.4. Nothing above limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law — including liability for bodily injury caused by negligence, liability for acts or omissions committed willfully or with gross negligence, or liability under a mandatory provision of law.

11.5. simplematch does not verify users' identities and is not responsible for their conduct, for the meetings that occur, or for any outcome of a physical or digital encounter through the Service (see section 6).

12. Indemnification

The user agrees to indemnify Simple Web for damage or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) caused to it as a result of (a) the user's breach of these Terms; (b) unlawful content they uploaded; or (c) unlawful use they made of the Service. This indemnity applies to the user's own acts only.

13. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction

13.1. We may update the Service and its terms. We will give advance notice of a material change to the Terms (on the website and/or by email) a reasonable time before it takes effect, and you may stop using the Service if you do not agree to the change.

13.2. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Non-exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Israel, without derogating from the local-venue rules that protect a consumer under the law.

14. Miscellaneous and contact

14.1. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

14.2. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the user and the Operator regarding the Service.

14.3. The Hebrew version of these Terms is the binding one; any translation is provided for convenience only.

14.4. Any inquiry regarding the Service should be sent to info@simple-web.co.il (phone: 053-757-2773), or by mail to: Simple Web, LYFE Towers, David Ben Gurion 1, Bnei Brak, Israel.
